Markets managing - Betstop/Betstart functionality

In the ScoutsFeed product we offer a Betstop/Betstart feature that allows for managing in-game markets. This functionality is primarily aimed at clients in the betting industry, for whom knowledge of situations where markets should be opened or closed is one of the highest priorities. Our trained Scouts, while covering live events, strictly adhere to predefined rules for using this mechanism, depending on the sport and regardless of the coverage type.
This chapter contains all the key information related to this feature.
Information about the current status of markets is sent via a PUSH message of the "Event" type. The types of statuses that are supported depend on the specific sport:
soccer:
bet_status (general) - the general status - can take the values: active/suspended. It informs whether all match markets need to be opened or closed
bet_cards - the status related to cards (yellow or red) - can take the values: active/suspended. It informs whether markets for cards need to be opened or closed
bet_corners - the status related to corners - can take the values: active/suspended. It informs whether markets for corners need to be opened or closed
other sports:
bet_status (general) - the general status - can take the values: active/suspended. It informs whether all match markets need to be opened or closed
Regardless of the sport or competition, all match markets are opened (active) 5 minutes before the start of the match (see screen 1) and closed (suspended) at the end of the match (see screen 2).
The management of match markets is the responsibility of the Scout, however, there is the possibility of intervention by the Scouts Controller, who may deem it appropriate to use a specific status in a particular situation. Such situations include for example: match “Emergency Incidents”, which are described in THIS
part of the documentation.
There are two ways to close and open match markets:
manual - a Scout, in strictly defined situations, can close or open markets using appropriate match incidents (buttons). Examples of situations where the scout is obliged to close match markets include:
lack of the source of coverage, loss of the source of coverage
technical problems (e.g. hardware problem, problem with the Internet, problem in the tools)
not being certain if the score is correct – before activating, you must necessarily provide the correct score
when it may be expected that VAR will be used
incorrect match status (incorrect information on the current part of the match)
possibility of awarding a penalty when the game is continued
automatic - in most sports offered within the ScoutsFeed product, we distinguish a number of event/team incidents, called key incidents (see THIS chapter), the use of which will automatically close or open the match markets. All these incidents are listed in the table below, divided by sport and the 'action' of the incident (its confirmation or cancellation, if required).

For all the above incidents that automatically close the match markets but do not open them, it is up to the Scout to manually open these markets at the appropriate moment (or by the Scouts Controller).
