  1. What are ‘emergency incidents’?

Incidents categorized as 'emergency' are an integral part of the ScoutsFeed product. They are used to inform our clients about special, extraoridnary situations related to a specific match, which can occur before, during, or after the match.

 

'Emergency incidents' can be sent to clients at any time but primarily from 30 minutes before the start of the match until several minutes after its finish. All incidents are sent via PUSH messages.

 

The main reasons for sending this type of message include:

  • changes in the way coverage is provided (higher/lower latency, different source of coverage)

  • unexpected issues with the Scout or match organizers (possible delay, bad weather conditions)

  • changes/verifications in the most important (key) statistics (like results, cards, corners)

  • changes/verifications in player props (player statistics)

 

Some emergency incidents are also linked to the function of closing/opening match markets (betstatuses). This mainly concerns incidents that involve potential changes in key statistics. This function allows ScoutsFeed clients to feel more secure in the process of verifying and settling match bets.

  • soccer incidents - more detailed incidents, which largely rely on key statistics crucial for traders

  • other sports incidents

but also:

  • prematch incidents

  • live incidents

  • postmatch incidents
