How to add a widget to another sport in new LivematchPro

As a Customer of LivematchPro you are able to create and customize widgets for all sports available in your plan. In the few simple steps I will show you, how to properly create a widget for a certain sport.

Step 1. Log in.

Please log into our backoffice with the details provided in the welcoming message:

Step 2. Go to the “StatsWidgets” dashboard.

After login, you can experiance the welcoming screen. In this point, please go to the “StatsWidgets” tab on the top right corner on the screen:

Step 3. Get familiar with the Stats Widgets dashboard.

This is Stats Widgets cotrol panel. Here you can find all available options. You can create and customize widget, create a group, manage your whitelist, check the views report or check the documentation.

Step 4. Single Widget creation.

To create a LivematchPro widget for a single sport, please go to the “Widgets” tab on the left side menu.
After clicking it you will see the widgets dashboard, where you can find all of your widgets. To add a new Widget, please click the “Add new Widget” tab on the right top side:

Step 5. Choose the widget you want to create.

When you select a sport you are interested in you will see the list of widgets available in your plan. If you subscribed to a LivematchPro and PrematchPro plans, you can expect LivematchPro, PrematchPro and also double column option of these widgets.

Please, select the widget you want to create and click the green “Create” button.

Step 6. Customize your widget 1/2.

At this point you are able to fully customize your widget. There is many customization options that you can choose. You can enable/disable multiply display option as competition info bar, scoreboard or timeline, you can enable/disable and sort the tabs in the widget, customize the field projection or add a logo on the tracker. We encourage you to play a little with all the options available at this point. Once you are done, please click the “Next Step” button on the right bottom corner of the screen:

Step 7. Customize your widget 2/2.

After layout customization, in the next step you are available to change the widget desing, colors and fonts.

We encourage you to play with the colors, so the tracker will match your website:

After you are done with choosing your favourite colors, please click finish button. At this moment you will see popup with the name of the widget. You can change the name if it will help you. Click “Save” to finish.


Step 8. Adding Widget to the group.

When you are done with a widget creation, now you can add the widget to the proper group.

If you find yourself in a situation when you embed the same type of widget for each sport, you can use widget groups to organize things a little.

A group of configurations allows you to have one entity which links each configuration you choose with the sport you choose.

After you create your group, you can use its ID to embed it. Only difference between embedding regular configuration is that you have to use STATSCOREWidgets.WidgetGroup class instead of STATSCOREWidgets.Widget. API of WidgetGroup class is exactly the same as Widget class.

When you use group ID we will know which sport configuration should be used and it will automatically choose the proper sport from the event ID.

If you don’t have any group created, please click “add new group” button on the top right corner.

You can name your group, and choose the sports you want to include in it.

Click save once your done.

This is it. Now in the dashboard you can check all the widgets you’ve created, and the group ID you have. You can use this ID to embed your widgets on the website. More details about widget embeding can be found here: https://statscore.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/STW/pages/2917072899
