Introduction
We are proud of what we have achieved so far in this product but what we care most about is giving the client a choice in as many aspects as possible. We simply understand that these days product must be adjusted to proper needs of clients coming from very different areas of expertise or just different countries and cultures. We do know that, for example in Norway there is more interest in winter sports like ski jumping while, a client from Spain would rather go for football (soccer) as this is a number one sport up there.
We have prepared a default setting template where we took very much care to adapt it in a very universal way to suit every possible client coming from all over the world. However the main purpose of this section is to present every single part of ScoreFrame product that can be chosen by a client in case deafult setting is not what the client is looking for.
Favicon and title
The product looks better in a browser when the page has a favicon and it's title and that is why we suggest our clients to send us the file and the information. This setting is visible on every page you visit.
Languages
We offer full package of languages however if your website is dedicated for one country only you can always let us now that (you may wish to have some languages only).
ScoreFrame automatically adjusts the language of the website. The system tries to find the language of the browser and then sets the proper one on the website.
If the user picks the language by himself then this configuration will be saved in his browser and remembered after on just like the every next change.
One of the languages needs to be decided as default one in order the browser's language is not offered in ScoreFrame. Then the default language will be set. English is on default however it can be changed on request.
The order of adjusting the website language is as follows:
- Language set by the user
- Language set by automatic adjustment (based on browser settings language)
- Default language set by the system administrator
Time zones
There is a select with time zones in the header and user's browser will detect proper time zone and set it automatically.
If the user picks the time zone by himself then this configuration will be saved in his browser and remembered after on just like the every next change.
It is possible to define one time zone only in case the product is dedicated for users from one country only and then just hide the select as it will have no more purpose.
Sports selection
Functionality and the look of sports is very important for the website and we leave the final decision to the client how it should look like.
- Default sport on front page
- The way of picking up a sport :
Option 1: Sport icons slider
You can choose one from icon sets listed below:
Option 2: Sport names under select
- Order of sports on a list:
- on slider (Option 1)
- on popup (Option 1)
- under select (Option 2)
To sum up. Once you make the choice what main sport to show on front page you will have to decide whether you wish to have a slider with sports icons or make it a more modest approach with just a select with list of sports.
Having made those two decisions it is up to you whether you go with our default setting for list of sports or make decision on your own. Under slider and popup once you pick up Option 1, you can make two different sorts while if you decide to go with Option 2 then just let us know which sport is on top and make the rest of the list till the very bottom.
To help you make proper choices have a look on the list of default settings. Perhaps those are already fine with you.
