Unbooking limitations

Unbooking limitations

We have two general limitations for unbooking events for Scoutsfeed depending on the event's coverage type:

  1. It is not possible for the customer to unbook the match 12 hours before it starts if coverage_type = from TV

  2. It is not possible for the customer to unbook the match 48 hours before it starts if coverage_type = from venue

Besides that, the event may be automatically unbooked in three situations:

  1. The coverage type of the event will be changed by the data department

  2. The latency value of the event will be changed by the data department

  3. The start date of the event will be changed to another month

The three points above do not apply to events that have been autobooked for the selected competition

The above rules do not apply also if you use the “Booking cancelation rules” settings. There are located in the “Settings” tab and allow for:

  • cancellation or non-cancellation the event’s booking if Data Department changes the coverage type to a more delayed one (for example from 3-6s to 7-15s)

  • cancellation or non-cancellation the event’s booking if Data Department changes the coverage type to a fast on (for example from 3-6s to 1-2s)
